Beyond the Desk: Highlighting the Humans Behind the Work

During my time at the North Carolina Department of Revenue , I worked with the Public Affairs team to design and layout a recurring article called "Beyond the Desk." This series highlights employees' unique passions, talents, and lives outside of work. My designs aim to reflect the individuality of each featured person while maintaining a cohesive and professional presentation.
Each "Beyond the Desk" article is published as an interactive digital publication through Flipsnack. This platform enhances the reading experience by allowing viewers to flip through pages seamlessly, simulating a real magazine. The interactive format ensures the stories are accessible across devices, with clickable links, vibrant visuals, and an intuitive user interface that brings each employee's story to life.
